Dr Taylor Cullen

About
Taylor completed Rheumatology training at Prince of Wales, Royal Prince Alfred and Campbelltown Hospitals. She holds a master’s degree in public health and is a PhD candidate with the University of NSW. As part of her ongoing research into health systems and patient centred care, she is an active contributor to the scientific community including through conference presentations for which she has won several awards. She has also held university and hospital teaching roles and is currently a conjoint associate lecturer at the University of Western Sydney.
Taylor has experience working with diverse populations, especially young women, across New South Wales, Queensland and the Northern Territory. As a result she is aware of how critical balancing immunosuppression and infection risk is to ensure positive quality of life and treatment outcomes. She also understands how important pain control is to maintain an active lifestyle, as outside of work she enjoys running, playing sports and is passionate about the creative arts with a history of dancing ballet.
